The fact that we are this close to the mountains doesn’t mean we don’t like water sports: on the contrary. The municipal pool of Sarnano has a main pool of 25 x 12.5 m with a variable water height of 1.20 to 1.50 m and a children’s pool of 12.5 x 6 m of 0.60m in height. Today the pool, renovated in 2012, is able to offer a broad range of services to meet all the needs of the inhabitants of Sarnano and neighbouring areas, but also of those that are just passing by or are staying on holiday.
In Sarnano’s pool, you will find an excellent swimming school for kids and adults, also open in summer. The classes are aimed at teaching and improve swimming techniques, but also at practising other aquatic activities. All this entrusted to qualified instructors and experienced staff.
Particular attention is given to water fitness: Aquagym, Idrobike, Aqua Jump, Aqua Walking, Aqua GAG, Aqua Box to exercise and keep fit with a sense of rhythm, taking advantage of all the benefits of movement in water.
Of course, it is also possible to practice some free swimming every day, at different times.
the vigour of the body.
In 2012, the municipal swimming pool was enriched by a proper Wellness Area: a small peaceful corner where you can relax and release your daily stress. In the Wellness Area there is a jacuzzi pool for hydrotherapy, perfect for clearing your mind, easing muscle tension and improving circulation.
The program includes both the Turkish bath and a steam bath, which have always been known for their invigorating, purifying and relaxing properties, ideal for eliminating skin impurities and clearing the respiratory passages.
La sauna, invece, è un bagno dThe sauna is a dry heat bath, used around the world to increase skin transpiration and eliminate toxins through sweating.
The whole wellness area, also equipped with a relaxation and tea room, is inspired by the principle of chromotherapy. The rooms are fitted with lights and colours that support relaxation and instil calm and peace, both psychologically and physically.
